FAQ

Is this an allergy-free business?

No, we have dogs and cats. We ask all clients if they have allergies beforehand. We will always wash the parts/suit before we ship it out regardless of whether or not the client has allergies.

How long will a commission take?

Depending on what is commissioned, it can take from a week (a pair of paws or a tail) to several months (a mini or full partial) to finish. The amount of time spent working on it is also affected by how complex the suit/part is.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally. The reason why we mostly sell to and take commissions from those living in the US is because we are concerned about larger boxes becoming an issue with shipping. The shipping costs can be very expensive even with just a pair of paws.

What options do you have for shipping?

We primarily use UPS or USPS. If you have a preference that is not listed, please let us know!

What measurements should I give for certain parts?

You will need a tailor's measuring tape to get the most accurate measurements.

Head: The circumference of your head along your brow bone.

Sleeves: Circumference of your bicep, elbow, wrist, the length of your arm, and length across the chest (from shoulder to shoulder.)

Legs or bodysuit: You will need to make and send us a DTD (Duct tape dummy) of your legs/body. Here is a link to a helpful tutorial on how to make one!

Feet paws: Your shoe size should suffice, but it may help us to know exactly how long the bottom of your foot is from heel to toe.

How do I clean and maintain my fursuit to keep it looking and smelling nice?

Regular washing after any outings that cause you to sweat are highly advised. If you don't sweat as much or you don't suit for very long, a fursuit disinfecting spray will do the trick. Make sure to brush out your fursuit every time you wear it. For bodysuits or any smaller parts, make sure to check over and brush areas that will experience more friction than the rest of the suit (armpits, crotch, wrists, neck, ankles, and the butt).
Heat treating: If your fursuit is looking mangy or it's matted, or just isn't looking as nice as it used to, you can use a hair dryer on high heat and Carefully go over the areas you want to heat treat, and brush with a slicker brush. Be sure to keep the hair dryer at least 5-6 inches away from the fursuit while heat treating to avoid melting the fur fibers.

Repairs: Over time, your fursuit will get worn down and may lose its durability. If a seam pops or fur starts to come off of your fursuit, you can repair it with a basic blanket or hidden stitch, or hot glue if necessary. It is highly recommended that you learn how to sew or have a friend/family member help you if possible.

Do you make fursuits for minors?

Yes, but we only work with those who are 16+ and with a parent's permission via email. We require a form of ID from the parent showing only name and age, and who the commissioner is for verification. If a minor is still growing, we suggest only getting a mini partial at most. Within a year feet paws or a head may not fit, so we would also suggest only getting a pair of hand paws and/or a tail.

How should I wash my suit/parts?

If you commission us, we will send your fursuit with a brush if you need one, fursuit disinfecting spray if you bought some, and instructions on how to wash and take care of certain parts. If you lose the care instructions, don't worry! You can reach out to us via email or any of our socials and ask us for the digital copy. If you have commissioned another maker, ask them how to wash your suit as they know what works best for their own work.

Do you sell pre-made suits and parts?

We will occasionally sell premades on our Instagram, Twitter, or The Dealers Den. Follow our Instagram and Twitter (buttons at the top of the page) to check out our work and see there's anything up for sale!
